Reviewers' Responsibilities
Reviewers' Responsibilities
Contribution to Editorial Decisions
Solid and convincing reviewer remarks are required by the editor and editorial board to make editing choices. Furthermore, reviewer ideas are critical for the authors' efforts to improve the manuscript.
Promptness
To guarantee that the publication schedule is adhered to, reviews must be completed promptly.
Editors should carefully select reviewers who are qualified to assess the submission in a timely manner. If he or she is unable to swiftly evaluate the article, he or she should notify the editor, and the review process should be halted.
Confidentiality
All manuscripts submitted for review must be treated as secret papers and may not be released or discussed with third parties unless authorised by the editor.
Standards for Objectivity
Reviewers should do their reviews objectively. Personal criticism of the author(s) should not be included and is considered inappropriate.
Reviewers should express their opinions on the research study clearly, with supporting and convincing arguments.
